Blackmagic designs announced its first Cinema Camera capable of recording 2.5K (2432 x 1366) 12bit RAW footage with 13 stops of dynamic range on a sensor, the sensor size is 16.64 x 14.04mm slightly smaller than Four third format, the camera features a Canon EF mount and a very simple and well-designed body with capacitive touchscreen and a Thunderbolt connection.
