In a recent financial report by Tamron, stats show operating income on net sales exceeded 25% this year. As they have promised they will be releasing a total of 5 Lenses in 2022. Two of them are already here
Tamron 2 of 5 Lenses, planned for 2022 release
- 17-70mm F2.8 for Fuji X-Mount and
- 50-400mm FE for Sony
I was in a deep state of excitement that Tamron would be releasing 5 brand new lenses in 2022. But, as you can see they are also counting up the relaunch of the 17-70mm X-Mount lens as a new lens, So maybe the next new lens will be a just relaunch of something that already exists, that disappointed me a little bit, but that’s ok.
