For 4K, there’s the S5IIX, and Panasonic is lagging behind in 8K, so I think they’ll make the S1HII 8K-compatible. They don’t seem to have much room to add more bodies, so they might merge it with the R series.
I think the video-centric S1HII will be released first, rather than the high-resolution S1RII that has been rumored many times before. It’s almost certain that the S1HII will feature on-chip phase-detection AF, but I’m curious whether it will use a higher pixel count sensor to support 8K video.
