Leaked images of Nikon D800 published by NikonRumors [NR] few hrs ago, the expected announcement date was Oct 26, but Nikon D800 Announcement Delayed due to flood in Thailand, still no confirmation about the announcement date.
The specification remains the same as we have mentioned few months ago

- AF system same as D3/D700
- Full HD video recording – 1920 × 1080/30p
- Dual card Slot (CF and SD)
- USB 3.0 and a New small wireless transmitter
- Smaller and lighter than D700
