DJI announced a new product DJI Mic 2 smart hot shoe adapter. The DJI Mic 2 hot shoe adapter can connect the DJI Mic 2 receiver to the MI hot shoe interface of Sony cameras, allowing for audio recording without the need for a 3.5mm TRS cable, and supporting digital audio recording. When using this adapter, the Sony camera can also power the DJI Mic 2 receiver, weighing approximately 12 grams. The price is said to be $199 only.
