Latest Rumors suggest that new Lecia X2 with a 18 Megapixel sensor, new 50mm f/2 Summicron-M lens and Leica Monochrome rangefinder with a LCD Display unit coming on May 10th.

1. Leica X2 with 18 Megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor
2. Leica Monochrome M rangefinder.
3. 50mm f/2 Summicron-M lens (price approx $3,300)
Leica Monochrome rangefinder will arrive with Body design same as M9, Black & White full frame sensor, display screen and Better High ISO performance (compared to Leica M9),

This camera simply makes NO sense. All an M9 user needs to do is: 1) set the camera to DNG plus JPEG and then set the color option to either b/w or vintage b/w; 2) import files with Lightroom with the b/w setting turned on. With LR you can always revert to the original color image. Of course you can also use any number of editing program to convert the image to b/w.
Now, if this new camera offer radically expanded dynamic range in b/w images, that would be good. Not so good as to warrant the purchase of another–dedicated–M9, however.
