Tamron is working on multiple kit lenses, the list includes 15-28mm F2.8, 24-70mm F4, and 24-50mm F2. The most interesting lens is 24-50mm F2, it looks like a perfect alternative to cheap kit lenses we usually get in full-frame mirrorless cameras. Let’s hope these patents may become real products very soon.
Large aperture, or constant aperture-based, short zoom lenses are likely to be in the “25-50mm F2’’ range. These lenses could be more convenient due to their wider zoom range compared to the Sigma 24-35mm F2 DG HSM from the SLR era
