Canon R5 Mark II in the Wild?

According to the latest rumors from the ordinary filmmaker youtube channel, the Canon R5 Mark II camera is already in the hands of selected photographers and is expected to arrive in Q4 of 2023. So, the Canon R5 Mark II camera will be announced before the Canon R1 flagship camera, which is scheduled to come before the Olympics of 2024.

    If those specs are true and it’s under $4K it will sell up a storm like the Z8 and would be very tempting. Such a shame their lenses are either stupidly expensive and/or slow.

    I think Canon didn’t have the guts to announce the R5 Mark II till sep of 2024
