Based on the recent set patents surfaced over the web, these 4 lenses are expected to arrive within 2 years of the timeline. In general, when Canon applies for a patent they generally take 1 to 2 years of time to make the product official. So, we do hope and expect that these RF lenses will arrive in the next two years.

    I am surprised not to glimpse / observe for its extraordinary versatility the long-awaited 50 / 60mm macro 1: 1 among the new RF lenses. Instead, Canon surprises us with a specific 100mm f2.8 2X ?. From my point of view, logic dictates that the COMPACT-MACRO should have appeared much earlier. I repeat I do not understand that SONY, NIKON, LAOWA have it as one of their BASIC objectives and Canon does not!

    Me sorprende no atisbar/observar por su extraordinaria polivalencia el tan esperado 50/60mm macro 1:1 entre los nuevos objetivos RF. En vez de ello, Canon nos sorprende con especifico 100mm f2,8 2X?. Desde mi punto de vita la lógica me dicta, que el COMPACT- MACRO debería haber aparecido mucho antes. Repito no entiendo que SONY, NIKON, LAOWA lo tengan como uno de sus objetivos BASICOS y Canon no!.

    Canon already has an RF 24-105 and 100-500 there will be no 24-100 or new 100-500, patents don’t indicate anything about whether they become products. However I do hope the macro sees the light of day.
