Canon SX740 HS Competitor
It’s very clear that Nikon is preparing to announce the competitor for the Canon recently announced Canon SX740 HS (Amazon.com | B&H) compact camera. The compact camera features 4K video recording @ 30 frames per second upto 30 minutes also 40x optical zoom in ultra compact body.
At the same time we have the Nikon A900 camera which already record 4K video at 30 frames per second and features 35x optical zoom in ultra-compact body, so it’s really interesting to see what coming next. There is a slight possibility that Nikon will going to enhance the optical zoom lens 5x more to match the Canon SX740HS camera.

Canon finally announced the Canon SX 740 HS compact zoom camera. The camera features and massive 40x optical zoom lens that gives you equivalent focal length up to 1000 mm lens in full frame format. If you are using memory cards of 32GB or less than that, then youre 4K video files will going to be split into 4GB packets and later on they will going to be mergedd in the camera.
Literally speaking this is one of the finest compact camera I have ever seen to record 4K video If you are using a 64 GB memory card with it.
You can record 2 hours 20 minutes of full HD videos at 60 frames per second If you are using 64 GB memory card with Canon SX 740 HS camera, but the clip limit of the full HD video files as well as 4K video files is approx 30 minutes so you have to keep that in your mind.
The LCD display screen in the camera useful little table and helps you while taking selfie is are creating self videos.

And instead of that we will going to have the Sony RX100 VI A camera as the successor of the Sony RX100 VI.
Slower Lens in Sony RX100 VI
Yes the BIG reason behind the update of Sony RX100 V camera is the faster 24-70mm F1.8-2.8 Lens. There are lot of people who are still interested in buying the older version due to the faster lens. So, Sony decided update the existing RX100 V camera with all the new features they have added to the Sony RX100 VI camera.

Slow AF Tracking AF and Laggy Interface
One of the most important thing that the DP review editor is disappointed with ability of the camera to focus on moving subjects. The camera is not able to maintain a proper focus on moving subjects as well as the entire operational speed of the camera feels Laggy.

However we do have some positive science also, the camera produces excellent JPG quality and the sensor has low noise at Higher iso, that is the max ISO of the camera touches the 12800 limit.
But the list of what we don’t like is surprising large, one of the big reason behind the Slow AF tracking and Slow overall operational speed is the use of slow processor inside. dpreview editors are not happy with the 4K video mode off the camera since it is limited to 15 frames per second only, the camera also allow you to have very limited customization. And according to the editors there is a noticeable display between pressing the video recording button and start of the capture.
