Sony is using next generation of image stabilization technology in their camcorders. And the name of the technology is called the boss. The full form of boss is body optical steadyshot system. In general Sony developers say it’s like adding a gimble inside a camera.
Boss image stabilization system was introduced 2 years ago in Sony camcorders and we do also hope that they will going to introduced in Sony RX100 series compact cameras as well as rx10 compact camera in near future.

Before we think of getting a affordable X-Trans 4 body in our hand we have to think over that Fuji flagships update are overdue. And if they put X-Trans 4 sensor under affordable body, it will hamper future flagship camera sales.
Fuji Changed its strategy, their only main aim is to lead the APS-C segment despite of taking care of their own flagship cameras, that’s why instead of putting attention towards X-Pro2 update Fuji putting attention towards other model development and announcement. Their only aim is to put best Specs in front of consumers under reasonable price tag.
Fuji X-T30 Early Announcement Depend Upon Competitor offerings
If Sony announces Sony A6700 on NAB or at Photokina 2019 [see first set of leaked specs here] the only way to kill its sale is to put a affordable body in market carrying 26MP X-Trans sensor and with 4K30p recording option under or approx $1000 price range. So, Fuji X-T30 announcement actually depend competitors offerings.
Fuji X-T30 will arrive in 2019 only if Sony announces something better than Fuji X-T3 with lower price tag. Otherwise we have to wait till 2020.

We have a good news from Sony semiconductor division, they have announced a new 1inch IMX 383 sensor. The new sensor is 20 Megapixel BSI Stacked CMOS sensor. The sensor features continuous shooting speed upto 50 frames per second at full resolution. Which was not possible with the previous generation of sensor, the previous generation Sony 1 inch sensor where Limited 20 frames per second only.
Sony RX100 VII to Use IMX 383 Sensor
Now we are expecting the sensor to be used with the upcoming Sony RX100 VII camera. The new sensor will allow to capture extreme frame rates at HD and full HD resolutions. And there is also a big possibility that we can get 4K at 60 frames per second with 10 bit output via the new sensor.
New image processor and sensor will sure upscale the Core specification of the sony existing RX 100 series camera to a new level. New sensor and new image processor we will give faster continuous shooting a speed at full resolution, with more broad dynamic range, enhanced low light performance and finally better video recording mode.

As you can see from announcement timeline of Sony RX100 series, Sony refreshes it’s RX100 series camera every year. They skipped the update of RX100 on 2017. But at 2018 we had 2 RX100 series announcement, RX100 Va (Amazon.com) and RX100 VI (amazon | B&H). The possible date of announcement of RX100 VI camera is pointing towards June month of 2019 (only if Sony runs on its traditional schedule).

Ok last year Canon said they will cannabilze DSLRs to promote Mirrorless camera, and they did also. They haven’t updated the long overdue 7D Mk II camera (no longer in production / discontinued) and no DSLRs announced in 2018. Now, latest rumor coming from rumor mill suggest that Canon killed one of its DSLR development in favor of Mirrorless camera. May be 5DS line dumped up and we will see a high-resolution mirrorless solution for that.

The best thing camera maker usually do is to delay the product announcement. Sony never officially told that they have stopped the development of APS-C Alpha mount cameras. In the same way Nikon never told officially they are quitting the development of Nikon 1 Series Mirrorless camera. Canon 90D is also rumored to arrive in 2019. But based on the latest set of information we are getting Canon is planning to introduce Canon 7D Mark III camera before Canon 90D. The camera will 4K 30p and lot of other enhancement including new RAW file formats and C-log support
Canon 850D / T8i is also rumored to arrive in the Q1 / Q2 of 2019. The latest rumors we have received suggest that the camera will have a 24 megzpixel CMOS sensor DPAF tech same as of Canon 80D DSLR camera. Initial information also suggest that the Canon 850D / T8i camera is the first Canon Rebel camera to have 4K video recording option.
According to the latest information coming through the rumor mills, Sony A7 SIII camera will have newly developed stacked CMOS sensor which is of course different then the Sony A9 camera, that’s clearly indicate Sony A7SIII will carry advance sensor tech compared to Sony A9 camera. However, no further details available about the type of tech Sensor Sony may used inside the upcoming Sony A7 SIII camera.
