Canon Filed a patent for 14-145mm F3.4-6.5mm lens. The website says the lens is made for a sensor smaller than APS-C and bigger then 1.5inch sensor of G1X Mark II.

Possibly the lens being designed for a compact camera, may be for Canon G1X Mark IV ?

Yes we are talking about the Canon 1400D (Canon T7 in USA) the upcoming camera from Canon.

Well we have to say that excitement level soaring early, the first Canon 1400 D / T7 details have started to surfaced online.

Canon 850D / T8i Coming in 2018 September ? According to latest rumors coming from anonymous sources Canon 850D is coming in Q4 of 2018. Possibly in September of 2018 during Photokina event.
