Panasonic Working on Image Sensor with More Dynamic Range

Panasonic is working on new organic sensor that features more dynamic range as well as broad ISO sensitivity. In the latest news published at image sensor world website, Panasonic is actively working on organic sensor technology from past few years but no one knows when the organic sensor will going to be used inside it’s on mirrorless series.

The latest document published by the Panasonic Japan states that we can control the sensitivity of the sensor by per pixel basis. That will result excellent dynamic range by well controlling the amount of highlight and lowlight area in the scene.

    The GH6 is supposed to use the new sensor, but maybe the new cine camera out today will, or the new compact cinema camera you mentioned a few articles down.
