Fuji is planned to announce three more MF lenses this year. To get your desired system you have to keep a $10K budget and it’s also true that most of us are not able to effort this system right now. But as the competition is increasing we do hope that in future we will do see more MF products with a very competitive price tags.

Fuji finally announced the long rumored Fuji X100F camera today the camera features 24MP X-Trans III APS-C sensor as used in X-Pro 2 and X-T2 camera. The X100F camera doesn’t have any built in low pass filter.
The number of AF points of the camera drastically increased to 325, the number of phase AF points is now 91 compared to previous generation of 45 AF points.
The overall speed of the camera is excellent, the Auto focus acquisition time of the camera is approx 0.08 second which is very fast compared to other compact camera.
No 4K – yes it’s a big mess here, Fuji decided not to add 4K inside the X100F camera and the camera remains limited to Full HD mode at 60fps. For the first time Fujifilm X100F enjoying the AF joystick on the rear side of the camera. The hybrid viewfinder of the camera is also updates this time. and addition of DSLR style front dial in hand grip of the camera can be seen.
The WCL-X100 wide-angle and TCL-X100 tele-conversion lenses have also been updated to ‘Mark II’ versions.
The camera available from February 16th in black or silver for $1299/£1249.

As we have told you earlier that both upcoming camera will carry same sensor as of the X PRO2 camera. But at the same time, we are also surprised to see Fuji isn’t allowing X100F camera to record 4K video and remains limited to Full HD video mode at 60fps. A Fuji $1000+ compact camera doesn’t record 4K video which isn’t too good and it won’t appeal to mass market for now.
We all were expecting 4K in X100F but Fuji left a plenty of space others, other company specially Panasonic and Sony gearing up to announce large sensor compacts this summer. We will bring more updates soon.

We have already published some low-res images of Fuji X100F a while ago and not only that we have also published the images comparison of both the camera here. Now the announcement of the camera is matter of days and Japanese sources are again in action and publishing clear images of Fuji X100F as well as the X-T20 camera. As you know that the camera carry third generation of X-Trans sensor and hence we will sure see a big difference in image quality compared to it’s predecessor.

Fuji patent 20mm F1.8 Lens for its X series camera. Fujifilm already have XF 16mm f/1.4 and XF 23mm f/1.4 R Lens. The 20mm lens will fill the gap in-between.

Fuji X100 arrived with extensive core specification, without a doubt we can say that Fuji X100F is leading APS-C camera of market. But, how much improvement does the X100F carry from inside to out side take a look now
While we look at both the camera the initial difference we notice is
Fuji X100F vs Fuji X100T Design Difference
- The AF led position changed
- Traditional Logo place has been also changed, Now we don’t see the F written in the place of T
- Addition of a front Jog dial button
- Rear Screen button shifted towards right Thumb, making more easy to operate the camera compared to its previous versions.
- On the rear side of the camera lot of changes has been made compared to the X100T.
we have marked with re square the front jog dial and the rear Joystick of the Fujifilm X100F camera. The camera also have a dedicated ISO dial at the top of the camera.

The camera features newly developed 24MP X-Trans III sensor and advance X Pro image processor. Hence with more resolution and advance generation of sensor architecture the X100F camera will give you more image quality with a extensive amount of details.
Despite of increase in resolution the X100F camera gives you 1-stop of more standard ISO range compared to the X100F camera.
Exposure control of the camera is also increased to 2 stops as well (a total of 5 stops) as AF frame selection of the camera is also rebuild and expended with three user selectable option based on the demand of scene Single, Zone, Wide / Tracking.
