Canon EOS RP to Feature 24MP Sensor, More Specification Leaked

According to latest rumors surfaced over the web, Canon EOS RP may arrive a brand new 24MP sensor. However, despite if being labeled brand new the sensor performance is  said to be matches with the Canon EOS R camera. Take a look at the new set of specification of the upcoming camera

1. Canon EOS RP Rumored specification

  • 24 MP DPAF Sensor
  • 5 FPS Continuous shooting speed
  • ISO range 100-40,000 Expandable 102400
  • Eye AF, improved AF (probably new algorithms implemented)
  • AF speed under standard Condition is  0.05 sec
  • Canon Log available, HDMI Clean output and 1.5X crop at 4K (Yep, it’s still there)
  • USB-C and headphone jack are available. Battery charging while shooting is
    supported
  • Body only $1299

I do not want to jump on details,  but previous set of specs suggest us that the camera may carry a 26 MP sensor as we have seen in the Canon 6D Mark II camera.

Would be good news if this was a Sony 24MP sensor. Let’s hope there is a flip out screen.

We will continue with the same sensors as always, or will it be the first Canon with BSI technology ???????????.
Seguiremos con los mismos sensores de siempre, o será la primera Canon con tecnología BSI ¿???????????.
